Can you reproduce the bug on the Forgejo test instance?

No, I've tried it and the problem is not present there

I updated the icons a little (added/fixed .zon and .cr) for devicon and for material design I fixed it missing mappings for popular file extensions (e.x. .js, .html, etc) and made material design the default (you can pick the icons you want in the settings).
